The long awaited final installment in Bioware's critically-acclaimed space opera, Mass Effect 3, is finally here. The time is perfect to take a look back on Commander Shepard's breathtaking journey from the beginning.
The first Mass Effect game, despite its flaws (an engine that feels a bit clunky and graphics that seem a far cry from what even Bioware is able to produce nowadays), is a prime example of what any worthy RPG should entail: gripping storytelling, diverse and rich environments, compelling and deeply customizable characters, and a brand-new universe able to stand on its own.
This video is a tribute to the game's creators, for giving us players countless hours of pure entertainment. This one is also a very special (and totally biased) acknowledgement to Jennifer Hale, the best voice actress in the galaxy.
The Mass Effect franchise is the property of Bioware Corp., a division of Electronic Arts. I do not claim ownership.
