  • Kalbob reply Supply and demand. Most people can now get their books online on their phones or kindles, or just simply buy them for pennies on amazon. So really the only people visiting bookstores and or libraries, are either people who are old (hence the whole 19th century woman thing, because thatsa popular genre among older women) or little children. And also the occasional student who is trying to find some book they need for college
  • Naturenerd1000 reply I've noticed that the libraries keep getting emptier. 5 years ago they were full. A couple years ago the shelves were only filled by 1/3. Now the libraries only have books covering 1/5 of the shelves.
