A top-down shoot em up with rogue-lite (like?) tendencies, Monolith tries to do lot's of things. The idea of the game is interesting but it fails to deliver in being fun. A retro appeal and a cool 8-bit soundtrack are it's strong-suits, but it doesn't give players a true reason to want to play more. It is nostalgic though, so old-school gamers might want to take a peek!
