  • [ – ] BrianAiya reply Agree with you. We should email and atleast wait 2 or 3 days, let alone when it's in the weekends. The drama Crew have good intentions, but I agree and get your point. We need to have little patience and be more understanding. PS. Watch out when you vlog and drive pls, atleast use a stand so that both of your hands are on the wheel. xD
  • [ – ] mcstacky reply Vidme is a safe driving company and cannot condone the act of filming and driving ;) be safe out there
    • JustABloke parent reply LoL holy crap I was concentrating on what he was saying, I never noticed he was driving too, thats me as observant as a lump of coal.
  • AsKaGangsta reply great vid! i agree 100%%
  • [ – ] JustABloke reply Excellent point, when something is wrong and they publicly point it out, it's like a badge of honour. The more popular they are the bigger the damage to the community occurs. Regardless the issue is fixed, that video and many like it, will be shared on all media platforms.
    • [ – ] LadyK parent reply I agree with you on that one. It's like some of these people on here who are so popular and have a huge following act like they are owed something. They want instant gratification. I found this a lot on Youtube, which is one of the reasons why I left that platform for good. I ignore the naysayers. Life is too damn short. Spread the stoke of living life to the fullest. I just got here and I'm not going to let my life be taken over by some dramatic people whom I hardly know from Adam if you catch my drift.
      • JustABloke parent reply Thankfully most of us here appreciate the opportunity a site like this has given us, for me I want to see amazing positive people with such amazing stories big/small. I try to ignore the drama but sometimes I can't help myself by putting in my 2cents, which I know only fuels the flames of dissent.
  • [ – ] sarah reply :) (p.s. please don't leave!)
  • [ – ] iJimUK reply Personally, if and when I have an issue with or in Vidme. I don't upload a video about it, to me that's bad press, if only one big creator was to stumble upon my video they could thing eew maybe I won't start uploading here. Me? I email support and let them know what has gone wrong. Bad news and bad press travels faster than good press
    • LadyK parent reply What I've learned in life, if you have a beef with someone, speak to them directly.. by email or phone. Don't air out your dirty laundry for the world wide web. It's toxic.
  • [ – ] Kentantino reply you not wrong is true that why the main people of the drama crew we back out because we know we have to give them time. now the rest of the people who have done videos well yeah the just hoping in the train.
    • [ – ] lambdog76 parent reply Problem with the internet is that issues sometimes don't die, and people get triggered so easy, sometimes even after something has long since been squashed. I appreciate you hearing me out, I have respect for what the crew is working for.
      • [ – ] HeroicVillain parent reply ...but you gotta admit, whether it was done the right way or not, the community is more close-knit now.
        • [ – ] lambdog76 parent reply "...but you gotta admit, whether it was done the right way or not, the community is more close-knit now." Yes, I will fully agree with that. But I began to see the repercusions towards the end of the weekend, that did not bode well at first.
  • [ – ] WellReadDaily reply Drama llamas are as good as trolls!
  • [ – ] EmeraldMasterPixed reply I never quite understood why drama had to be on everything, yeah it entertains, but at what cost? While 2016 was still the current year on YT, you'd see shitstorm after shitstorm AFTER SHITSTORM, it essentially looped to the point where a new drama topic would come up and then it'd loop the same way, drama hasn't really made much sense when you look at it in a way where you could ask; "Why do was need these problems, everything and everyone is just fine, in fact they're enjoying themselves without the drama!" YouTube's landscape ultimately got hit so damn hard thanks to this and probably politics since that made it's contribution to the problem because people would try to force who you supported out of you and then would have the audacity to be toxic to you just because you supported "this" or "that". But I digress... YouTube never seemed to listen and also didn't seem to give a single shit about people's creativity, so it became a matter of how much money they could get. YouTube is ...morestill great, but it'll only be better when YT itself and Google learn to understand that content creators' livelihoods have been hit SEVERAL FUCKIN' TIMES ultimatly scarin' the ever lastin' shit out of everyone that has YT as their job. Needless to say, this drama has made it's impact on YT a hell of a lot more unavoidable, but that will likely change when a competitor shows itself, then YT isn't as much of a monopoly now since the light of reality has now hit the eyes of those who live in their own little world and now have to actually think on how to fix these problems. I'll just summarize right here before I go off on a tangant; Drama has it's role to be used to grab attention WHEN IT'S NEEDED. Goin' so far to make ONLY drama content only makes the enviroment more and more toxic, with this bein' a thing in a platform's eco-system, we can expect things to get worse. So in other words, drama is not somethin' that needs to be lived off of only, profited off of only, or even build off of, it's awful and it's useful when the people in control are not listenin', so let's be nice and awesome to each other and let's stop the toxicity from gettin' as bad as or worse than what YT has, let's have VidMe entertain and not provoke just for the sake of provokin'! We need to be cool guys, it's not hard at all! :D
  • [ – ] Wendiz reply Ya.. I just saw the title. And this is what i have to say.. QUITTER!!
  • [ – ] Wendiz reply Vidme seems so much smaller than YouTube..
  • [ – ] BDS_in_the_Morning reply I'm really glad somebody has a rational view on this issue. People are way too fast to make roast videos in my opinion. I am going to keep on keeping on with vidme, the issues are nothing it is impossible to work through, but with some of the trending channel issues it may become a little tricky. Since these huge channels are making videos with hate or with "quitting vidme" in the title, that is going to drive away casual viewers. Anyway, thats my point of view. - <3 Stephen
  • [ – ] whako reply I agree with the points people need to give them a chance and some change takes some time. Instead of giving up all together at least they could take a break, I would kill to have a following some of these guys who are quitting have. But I am going to ride this out I don't quit I wait till the end of extinction.
  • MFKraven reply I feel that this is a problem with the whole community not just Drama Crew. One person makes a video making great valid points and then people see it becomes trending so they hop onto the trend. its a nonstop cycle.
  • bunniiBGG reply short and straight to the point! wish i could make videos like that lol. thanks for sharing your thoughts i 100% agree ^^
  • [ – ] GlobalizationInQuestion reply I dont get the issue.. vidme works fine for me so far
  • ForNoGoodReason reply I don't wanna be that guy but if your gonna record while driving least keep both hands on the wheel.
  • Hoshi-Hana reply I must say I agree with you. It's some really valid and true points. One video takes the other and create a snowball/ avalanche effect. Taking into consideration with the staff size and how information works on the internet, it's not gonna make it easier or faster if the staff is bombarded with emails where it may get to spam level. They take time to go through and decide if they are worth anything. So definitely patience on our side would be great. :) Great video!
  • [ – ] spokorney reply leave Metallica out of it please. \M/\M/
  • Shinsha reply Well said.
  • ThatsEon reply Pretty legit tbh
  • [ – ] AxxL_Afriku reply Are you "i am b dog" or "Lambdog"?
  • [ – ] Lonecomplex reply Only upvoted because you remembered the words to Dyer's Eve
  • [ – ] SometimesBytes reply I actually think their is some benefit to "dog piling", while it can divide the community usually it's only for the short term. It puts a lot of pressure on the staff to have better communication with the users and it makes sure they are held accountable when they do things that are wrong or against the wishes of the majority of the community. Both of those things can help in the long run, besides no matter what they do people will be pissed off anyway. “If you never want to be criticized, for goodness' sake don't do anything new.” ― Jeff Bezos
    • lambdog76 parent reply I can see your point. What I am concerned with is if we go down the road of seeing the Vidme team as being Vidme, and we are Creators and viewers. The way I see it, and the way I want it to be is that We are Vidme, from the Team, to the Viewers. Not, "Vidme you have a problem, go fix it."
  • BillMiller reply If there's one awesome thing about being a music channel, it would be that I'm not susceptible to drama as much as other channels. I'm just a passive observer.
  • Tatsunero reply Its funny but my cousin was just talking to me about this... It makes sense to be honest.
  • Boobe2007 reply "I gotta Phone, i can just upload shit" - @lambdog76
  • LadyK reply @lamb dog76 😁
  • [ – ] HeroicVillain reply So...what you're saying is we should wait a day before breaking out the torches and pitch forks?
  • [ – ] MarzieMalfoy reply Awww, I don't want to see you leave :(
  • [ – ] TooAlt reply TO LIVE IS TO DIE*
  • [ – ] LadyK reply @lambdo76 I'm sorry, but my OCD is acting up again. But if you are filming on your phone, please look at your screen and not at your camera lens. It looks like you are talking to someone beside me and not at me. Just an observation. ;)
    • [ – ] lambdog76 parent reply You are right to say something. I attempt to not look, I will do better.
      • [ – ] HeroicVillain parent reply Also you had a few hairs on your head that were facing the opposite way from the others, amiright @LadyK amiright??? >:)
        • [ – ] LadyK parent reply I was looking at his eyes and what direction they were in 😂😂😂. Hair strands in the opposite direction? 🤔 😂😂
          • HeroicVillain parent reply ...and now it's going to bother you. https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRMSPOarXOw7lerwKTQlPIGPKTCXgJRIBYKIRjrl96lwIApn1ywvA
  • [ – ] JimsGamingChannel reply Your Metallica voice is the same as Solid Snakes. I know you pointed at me with the comment about "i talked to duffy and it's all good now in the description" I realised that and that's why I deleted the original video. I agree with this video however.
    • lambdog76 parent reply Thank you for hearing me out. Your video was what happened to bring the issue to a head for me, being the last of a few of its kind I had seen before leaving for work that morning. I don't like to see anyone discouraged from producing content for any reason, including a platform seeming to be tilted unfairly. I am glad that you unpublished the vid as not enough people take the time to go into the description and see the developing context of a vid, but that is the nature of social multi media. Thank you for chosing to stay.
  • [ – ] DGTLONE reply Great point of view bro . Keep up the positive outlook thing will get better just is gonna take some time . Peace DGTLONE
    • lambdog76 parent reply Thank you for taking the time to watch and comment. I haven't bern on Vidme long, but one of my first impressions was the positive foundation. I want to see that keep going, and still be here for new users.
  • [ – ] IronicTree reply Thank you.
  • Westley_Nash reply I think you're making a really valid point here sir 👍 I've used the email facility on VidMe to communicate many different things to VidMe staff & it's all been good in the proverbial hood as they say; response in 1-2 days average. "Are their videos made to in order to improve the system & highlight a problem or simply to build a bigger following & gain channel exposure?" This is the question I find myself wrestling with here 🤔 Not all, but some. I think if I had an issue or problem (or even a suggestion) I would email VidMe first to gauge a response & only make the expose' should I be ignored (but like proper ignored, 4-5 days max) or if it's a negative response maybe. I have to wonder if the rush to jump on it without getting a full response from VidMe staff is made out of fear of losing the exclusivity. That if they don't go quick, someone else will cover the subject & they might lose out. Personally I think VidMe have an adequate means of communication (which is more than can...more be said for YouTube) The "Contact Us" section has categories for your specific issue, complaint or suggestion. It's just my opinion of course but I really think people should make better use of it rather than look to lambaste VidMe in a public forum. Not a good way to build a relationship between platform & creator.... Just my thoughts.
  • CapnMintbeard reply I tend to agree that the staff needs time to address issues. People forget how bad things are on YouTube because the response is automated instead of having areal person do due diligence and investigate the issue. YouTube's automated processes have been used as a weapon several times, so I'm honestly glad Vidme takes their time and does it right.
  • Ghawk reply This is an interesting angle to look at the situation. Look at the dog pilling on YT, it is ruining the site.
  • imperialterra reply vidme drama doesnt exist
  • JonathanJK reply If one quits vidme where does one go?
  • Roamancing reply You are not at all wrong. Wise and mature words, which will hopefully start echoing more though the space.
