I was going to say this on the video, but I would drag the one-shot too much, so I'll just post it here:
The main reason why I don’t post a lot of one-shots is because I do find them to be pointless…somewhat…let me explain.
Originally, for those who are new to the commentary community, one shots were made back in around like the early 2010’s because there was a character limit on how much you can type up on the comments section. However, because of the fact that there is no character limit, then there’s not really a lot of uses for one-shots, thus me not really posting a lot of one-shots on my channel. However, there are ways in which case that you can make some one shots and not have them to be useless. With that being said, here’s how I personally think that one shot can come into play:
1.) If the user in question deleted a comment that I’ve made, or if the user in question disabled the comments within the comment section, but I only have one thing to say.
2.) If I’m doing a one-shot on another one-shot, or in some cases, a two shot, three shot, or a scattered shot.
And 3.) If there were a lot of commentaries on one video, but I want to bring up one new argument against that video instead. That way, I don’t have to do one full length commentary when a couple of other people already did a commentary on that video too.
