  • NoRights reply Very nice system you've put together! You could streamline it with drop down menus (common categories, common ad spots, and one Progress column with the options scripting, shooting, editing, uploaded, scheduled, and live) to have less columns to look over (unless you prefer seeing every stage is completed, of course) and a date picker to enter the scheduled date without typing. You could also compare the sched. date to the current one to automatically move it to Live if you want. As for updating the calendar you might get an idea from this page - http://www.adammcfarland.com/2013/08/09/tutorial-using-google-spreadsheets-to-update-a-google-calendar-our-new-vacation-management-system/ or rig something up with zapier.com or ifttt.com Keep up the good work and have a good day :)
  • [ – ] AcetheDolphinGuy reply so what is the difference between a video being uploaded and being scheduled, they sound like the same thing
    • [ – ] EposVox parent reply I edit and upload in bulk, meaning videos can sit there as a raw upload for weeks on end. Moving them to the scheduled task means all metadata is complete and video has actually been scheduled to post via Tubebuddy. Just sitting in "Upload" means the video is edited/uploaded but still awaiting metadata and scheduling.
