Sadly I will not be able to post a video every day of Inktober because I'm going on a vacation. However I will try to record and post as many videos as possible before and after I came back. I will be drawing a finished pic every day though; and at the end of October I will post a collection of all my Inktober pieces.
About this particular piece: This is a maiko (apprentice geisha). I was very happy when Nick suggested to collab on a piece like this, if you see my other videos you'll quickly realize I have an obsession with Japanese art, geisha and maiko in particular. XD
Reason for participating in Inktober: I recently bought a dip pen set that I'm eager to get the hang of and Inktober is the perfect excuse to use it every day. Now, I do sketch daily but I don't really finish a piece every day (I mostly sketch for practice, like figures and stuff from my imagination) so this could get a bit messy but I'm up for the challenge. ^-^
Materials used: A Speedball dip pen and speedball India ink.
Time spent: To ink took about 15 min. and to sketch it took about an hour.
Originality: Completely Original
