In part 12 of Love Ribbon, Ike gets the bad end because she decides to choose her future over the one she loves. Because as much as love hurts, people fall in love multiple times. There's a little bit of info about me lol. Why am I switching between third and first person?
Honestly, if I can't obtain my own happiness, who am I to think that I can make someone else happy? So if I can't bring myself into college and get a good job, I'm just going to be a leech (talking about Iris). Zoey has an unstable career path at this point and whether she brings home money is a questionable thing.
Just saying. But still, Zoey is extremely selfish at this point. The fact that Iris points that out makes me think the writer themselves think it's bad... yet they somehow make it look like the blame is on Iris. I don't understand.
What is Love Ribbon?
The story follows Iris, a girl who learns that her younger sister is transferring to her school, and will be living with her for the rest of the semester. Even though she has never met her sister before, Iris is determined to make up for lost time by becoming friends, and more importantly, to show off her dependable nature as the older sister of the household.
Unfortunately for Iris, however, things don't go as planned.
Zoey, Iris's younger sister, is a tall young woman who isn’t afraid to ditch class and badmouth others. Zoey shows little respect for authority, especially when it comes to her "older sister's" attempts to play nice. And if things couldn't get any worse, a confusing sexual tension blooms between them...
