Used external cheat codes to play as the 1st Form of the boss Onslaught in the arcade version of Marvel vs. Capcom. Read on below for his moves and more information...
This is a demonstration of the 1st Form of Onslaught in the arcade version of Marvel vs. Capcom. There is no legitimate method to select him in this version of game. Nevertheless, he is fully playable with no crashes.
Those of you who have played as the 1st Form Onslaught on the PS1 and Dreamcast versions of the game will realise that he is VERY different in the arcade version. For a start, all of his move commands are executed differently and he does not need any super gauge levels to perform his Mega Laser, Magnetic Shockwave and random partner switch. Overall he is less complex to control in this version. Here are his moves:
===== Special Moves =====
-- Hyper-Grav: D,DF,F + [LP]
-- Magnetic Shockwave: D,DF,F + [MP]
-- Magnetic Tempest: D,DF,F + [HP]
-- Charging Slam: D,DF,F + [LK]
-- Mega Laser: D,DF,F + [MK]
-- Sentinel Assist: D,DF,F + [HK]
-- Teleport Far: F,D,DF + [LP]
-- Teleport Middle: F,D,DF + [MP]
-- Teleport Back: F,D,DF + [HP]
-- Random Partner Switch: D,DB,B + [LP]
Seems there may be no command to perform his Sentinel Bomb Helpers or his Stun Teleport (i.e. when someone like Ryu or Morrigan hits him with their super beams the CPU Onslaught teleports out of it during being hit by the beams). If anyone knows let me know...
======== Additional Information ========
---- Basic LP MP HP LK MK and HK buttons do nothing.
---- When you use the Random Partner Switch, the character who comes in is controlled by the human player as well.
---- When you use the Random Partner Switch and the partner character is defeated, the music stops and then re-starts again when Onslaught teleports back in.
---- Unlike the PS1 and DC versions, when you move forward or backward and stop with Onslaught, he stops immediately, unlike floating (full description on https://www.youtube.com/w…
