To put it simply, ASMR (or Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response) is a relaxing feeling you experience when triggered by certain visual or acoustic stimuli. Some people feel a tingling sensation on their skin, which may begin on the scalp and move down towards the neck and spine, or sometimes towards the limbs. Other people may also experience a calm, euphoric feeling. Other people may not experience ASMR at all, yet they still watch ASMR videos to help them fall asleep or simply to relax.
