  • baremetal reply Couldn't agree more. I'm reasonably healthy but am a bit heavier than I should be. I did a 10K hike with my bug out bag and was sore for 3 days afterwards. That made me realize I need to put more effort into myself. Buying gear and shooting guns is fun, but if you're serious, you need to take care of yourself.
  • Bushcraft_Prepping_Survival reply Spot on. Health & Fitness are our number 1 preps. Everyone thinks they can hike 20 miles with a pack - yeah right, in your dreams..! I would say 90% of people can't even walk 20 miles, let along carry a pack. I've just come back from a 10 mile night-time hike on level-ish ground - I can hardly move now...!!! And I train 5 days a week. Its a dam site harder than you think folks. Just try it and see. Stay safe folks..
  • PREPVETUK reply Roger that. Just gotta do the best you can, with what you can. . . . I always say, prepping starts with No1 - Your Body....
