This weekend's parkour training session consisted of wood friction burn, strides, handsprings and very tired climb ups. I got the wood friction burn because of sliding on wood, my toe got stuck underneath me and slid on the wood. This causes a friction burn similar to a rug burn. There was a set of strides I wanted to do as well, but I kept putting way too much power into it and I wasn't able to precision on the edge. Handsprings are another skill I need more work on, so I did a bunch of those. My handsprings have definitely improved and I am landing them much more often than I have before, but I still need more work on them. I finished this parkour training session with some very tired climb ups. Doing climb ups when you're tired is good because it trains you to be able to do a difficult movement, even when you are tired and outta energy. I also failed a bar kip. Go me.
