What did your mother teach you about things you find on the ground? Mine taught me to hold onto them to see what they're worth. I guess this boy was told the same thing. (Maybe I should reconsider my mom's advice?)

Developed by SIE Japan Studio and published on 6 December 2016 by Sony Interactive Entertainment as an exclusive title for the PlayStation 4, The Last Guardian is an action-adventure game where players take the role of a boy and his befriended legendary creature, Trico.
Controls are fairly intuitive, with, for the boy, LS to move around; RS to pan the camera; ✕ for crouching / dropping from a ledge / releasing an item; ◯ for action (e.g., petting Trico or picking up an item); △ for jumping or climbing; ⬜ to throw an item or charge into enemies (with a "hands pushing" animation); DPLft to put an item away; DPRgt to ready an item; and R1 calling out for Trico. R1 in combination with other controls (such as ✕, ◯, △, or ⬜) also issues certain commands to Trico.
After finding an odd disc with glowing symbols, a boy falls into a strange cave and finds himself next to a large monster whose existence was only rumored before. Finding the creature, Trico, to be quite friendly and helpful once fed and freed of its shackles and pains, the boy crawls his way out of the cave with the assistance of his new friend. But now how will the boy get home, and what will become of the creature once thought to be only a myth? The Last Guardian's story will reveal this as it unfolds; let's play it and see.
